It is with great simcha and gratitude to Hashem that we announce the purchase of our new preschool building! Through the tireless efforts of Rabbi Levin we have been able to secure a contract for the 10,000 square foot property. We still have some work to do to secure the financing, but with Hashem’s help we will own the building in mid-March. After that we will need to do some renovations and repairs and also to go through the licensing process. All of that will take a few months. (The building has the proper zoning and is currently a licensed pre-school.)
The new building will greatly expand our ability to serve the community. We will increase our capacity by 30% and allow us to create a beautiful environment exclusively for the pre-school.
While this is great news for next school year, the relocation will take a lot of time and energy and will need to happen over the summer. For this reason we will, unfortunately, have to close for the summer. The Torah Academy will therefore not be able to offer a Summer Gan program this year. We look forward to offering it again in the coming year.
